Well... I got another one. Actually, this one was an email. I've been applying to shows all over the place, sending applications and CDs, and all that stuff (I haven't been working much, the creative juices seem to have frozen for the winter...). Anyway, this one was expected and a little more anonymous (mail entry), which means less painful. Will I ever get accepted into one of these things?.

Don't worry, you will get into one. I always say, if you don't like rejection, don't be an artist. It does hurt, but after a while I learned to take it in stride. now, I'm thinking I might collect all the rejection letters and put them into a (really, really big) collage. Good luck, and don't give up!

reminds me of me...I've been applying to jobs....I must have sent over 200 e-mails and 60% just don't respond. The rest just send a nice apologetic note that basically says, thanks but no thanks...They must hire people to write the rejection letter as PC as possible....LOL
